WELDERS-FIRST AND SECOND SHIFT - (Steel and Aluminum)
Earn $16.06 to $18.66
Requirements Include:
Basic welding and fitting to D1.1 specifications and related metal work. Average blueprint reading skills, mechanical and mathematical skills. Applicants with aluminum welding experience a plus. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age with a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Starting wages will be based on experience with an additional $.50 for second shift premium.

We currently have many open positions for Welders of all types. The current types and openings we have are as follows: Marine Welders - Must be able to pass a 4G test for structural steel and heavy aluminum MIG welding. You will be asked to work 40 to 60 hours a week and must be able to work in tight spaces. Previous 4G certifications in Aluminum welding and Steel welding is required. Structural Welders - Able to work well alone, have current certification papers for Flux Core 232 and 7018 all position unlimited thickness, also stick welding, and be able to read blueprints. You must be able to weld using a Lincoln wire fed welding system. Someone that has at least 5-10 years experience. You must also be willing to work overtime, and be presentable to our customers. Pipefitter/Boiler Welders - Must have a 6G SMAW pipe welding certification. Experience working in the boiler industry is a plus but not required. This job involves welding and pipe fitting for the manufacture and repair of boilers. These positions are all long term opportunities for the right candidates. It is extremely important that you can present your current certifications at the time you apply for the position. The certifications do not all have to be current, but they must be recent and you must be ready to pass a welding test to renew your certification. Compensation packages include salary ($17 - $27/hour) plus benefits.
